Troubleshooting
Common problems and what to check.
| Symptom | Check |
|---|---|
/advancedhud status says Not connected | Create a new command on the Servers page. Tokens expire after 15 minutes and work once. |
| No active license | Run /advancedhud license status. Activate with a key that belongs to the same account as the server. |
| Connected and licensed, but no HUD | Deploy a project. Check Last problem in /advancedhud status and the message on the Servers page. |
Deploy fails with This project needs a higher plan for this server | The project uses a limit or feature that the license on that server does not include. The message lists each item. Change the design or upgrade the plan, then deploy again. See Licensing. |
| Last problem says the assigned project uses features that are not included in the plan | The license on the server is on a lower plan than the deployed project needs, so the service is not delivering it. Deploy a project that fits the plan, or upgrade. |
| The resource pack hash does not match | A proxy or CDN is altering or caching the download. Exclude /api/packs/ from transformation. |
| Players see boxes or nothing | They declined the pack or it failed to load. See the counts in /advancedhud resourcepack. |
| Elements are in the wrong place or the pack fails to load | The project is built for a different Minecraft version than the server runs, or another pack replaces the text shader. Select the server version on the project page and deploy again. |
| A value is empty | The placeholder is not provided by any plugin. Install the PlaceholderAPI expansion or register it through the developer API (Pro plan or higher). |
| Item icons are missing | The web service could not index item textures. See Resource Packs. |
| Another plugin's boss bar disappeared | It uses the color white. Change its color. |
| Installation conflict | The plugin folder was copied to another server. Reconnect and activate on the server that should keep the license. |
| Offline grace period ended | Restore the connection to the service and run /advancedhud license refresh. Check the system clock. |
| A subtitle does not appear | The deployed HUD needs the Subtitle component, or another element that shows %hud_subtitle%. The sender needs advancedhud.subtitle. |
